Vice President Betterment
Daniel Egan is the Vice President of Behavioral Finance and Investing at Betterment. He is responsible for maximizing Betterment’s customers’ returns, in terms of both investment optimization and behaviorally informed design. He oversees a team of quantitative investment experts and behavioral finance experts. Dan holds a B.A. with Distinction in Economics from Boston University and an M.Sc. in Decision Science from the London School of Economics. Dan’s career includes health economics research at the University of Pennsylvania and a stint at corporate finance advisory firm Chiliogon in the UK (FSA authorised). Previous to Betterment, he helped establish the quantitative behavioral finance team at Barclays Wealth in 2007, working in both Europe and the U.S.
